Nendran banana bajji By

Ingredients

  • Nendram pazham[Kerala banana]- 1 [thinly slice]
  • Wheat flour or All purpose flour– ¼ cup
  • Rice flour or corn flour– 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
  • Brown sugar - 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed
  • Oil or ghee– ¼ ltr [for frying]

Preparation

  • Take a bowl add wheat flour, rice flour, brown sugar, salt, & turmeric powder then add water mix well (bajji batter consistency).
  • Then add 1 tbsp hot oil mix well
  • Heat enough oil in a broad pan
  • Then dip banana slices in the batter and deep fry on medium hot oil.
  • Once its ready remove from oil drain on absorbent paper
  • Serve hot with Tea
