Carrot chapathi

Ingredients

  • Wheat flour [Atta] – 1 cup
  • Carrot – 1 [finely grated]
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Garam masala powder – ¼ tsp
  • Curd – 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Butter – 1 tbsp
  • Water as needed.

Method

  • Heat oil in a pan add curry leaves, grated carrot, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder sauté for 2 min then cut off heat.
  • Take a bowl, add wheat flour, salt, oil, carrot mixture, water then knead it & make soft dough. Then cover it & leave it for 15 min. Divide the dough into equal size balls.
  • Sprinkle flour then roll out each ball in to 6 to 7 inch circle shape thin chapatti.
  • Heat iron dosa tawa then place stuffed chapatti on it, pour 1 tbsp of oil & cook both side.
  • Then cut off heat serve hot with any gravy, pickle, raitha or cucumber.
