Channa[Chickpea] Sundal | Kondakadalai sundal -How to mkae-Video

Ingredients
- White Channa[Kondakadalai, chickpea] – 1 cup[wash & soak overnight]
- Onion – 1[sliced, For Navrathri-Dont Add onion & garlic]
- Green chilli – 1[slit]
- Curry leaves – 1 spring
- Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
- Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
- Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
- Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
- Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
- Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
- Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Water as needed
Preparation
- Wash & Boil channa in pressure cooker for 5 to 6 whistles.
- Heat pan with oil then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered add Bengal gram & urad dal.
- Add onion sauté till soft. Then add green chilli, 2 tbsp coconut and curry leaves.
- Add boiled channa, turmeric & red chilli powder mix well, sauté for 2 min.
- Add salt & coconut mix well. Leave it for 1 min, cut off heat & sprinkle coriander leaves mix well.
- Serve hot with rice
