Ingredients

  • Moong dal – ½ cup
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Tricolor capsicum [red, yellow, green] – 3 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Carrot – 3 tbsp [grated]
  • Coconut – 2 tbsp [grated]
  • Coriander leaves – 2 tbsp [chopped]
  • Lemon juice – ½ tbsp [optional]
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds & let it splutter. Then add green chilli, capsicum, carrot & curry leaves saute.
  • Add moong dal and salt sauté for 2 mins. Then add coconut, coriander leaves & sprinkle lemon juice mix well & cut off heat. Serve hot.
