Tomato tamarind chutney By

Ingredients

  • Tomato – 1 [chopped]
  • Onion – 1 [sliced]
  • Tamarind 1 inch
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Dry red chilli -2
  • Sugar or jaggery – a pinch
  • Oil -1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Method

  • Heat pan with oil then add onion, garlic, dry red chilli roast.
  • Then add tomato roast till soft.
  • Put roasted ingredients, salt, sugar, tamarind in a mixer jar then grind well.
  • Serve with ragi idli, dosa or wheat dosa
