Thuvaiyal recipes, Thogayal varieties

Thuvaiyal / Thogayal is thick and course texture in nature. But it resembles chutney. Many of us would confuse between these two. Toor dal, peppercorns, Bengal gram gram, urad dal & coriander, cumin seeds are main ingredients used for making Thuvayal and when mixing with rice we will pour gingly oil and we would use less water while grinding. So chutney is dilute in nature and requires minimal ingredients as every one knows.
