Sweet Paniyaram | Inippu vella paniyaram-How to make-Step by step photos


Sweet Paniyaram By


Cuisine Style: Ancient Tamil Nadu, South India | Preparation & Cooking Time: 15 minutes | To Serve: 3 | Take with: Honey, tea, chocolate syrup| Type: Breakfast, dinner

Ingredients

  • Idli batter – 1 cup
  • Cardamom powder – ½ tbsp
  • Jaggery – ¼ cup [grated]
  • Water - 4 tbsp
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp

Preparation Method

  • Heat jaggery & water in a pan, stir well & let it melt. Once jaggery melted then cut off heat.
  • Then add cardamom powder & cut off heat. Then let it cool.
  • In a bowl, add idli batter, jaggery mixture mix well.
  • Heat iron paniyaram tawa (Iron casting tastes better than other material) & grease with ghee then pour batter & fill all cavity.
  • Cover lid and cook for 2 min.
  • Flip over and pour 1 tbsp of ghee around the paniyaram then again cook for 2 min. Then cut off heat & take it out & serve hot.
