Italian spaghetti aglio olio


Cuisine Style: Italian | Cooking Time: 10 minutes | To Serve: 3 | Type: Breakfast or Dinner

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti– 1 cup
  • Red chilli flakes – 2 tbsp [Dry roast dry red chilli then cool it & coarsely grind] or fresh red chilli - 2
  • Garlic - 3 Cloves [finely chopped]
  • Parsley or coriander leaves – 1 spring [finely chopped]
  • Olive oil or groundnut oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  • Heat water in a pan, add salt & let it boil
  • Add spaghetti cook till soft. Then drain water.
  • Heat oil in a pan add garlic sauté till light brown
  • Add red chilli flakes & parsley sauté gently.
  • Add cooked spaghetti sauté well. Then cut off heat & serve immediately

Tip

  • For variations:-You can add grated cheese or any veg toppings like sauted mushrooms, tofu, spinach, paneer or broccoli.
  • You can add lemon juice
