Simple semiya kesari

Ingredients

  • Semiya [Vermicelli]- 1 cup
  • Ghee – ¼ cup
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Saffron - a pinch
  • Cardamom powder- 1 tbsp
  • Cashew nuts - 5
  • Raisins [ular thratchai) - 7
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Water – 1 ½ cups

Preparation

  • Dry roast vermicelli and keep it aside
  • Heat ghee in a pan and roast Cashew nuts and raisins and keep it aside
  • Add water in the same pan let it boil, then add ghee, saffron, roasted vermicelli mix well & cook for 2 min.
  • Then add sugar mix well & let it thickens
  • Sprinkle cardamom powder
  • Finally add roasted nuts & raisins then cut off heat & hot

Note

  • You can make Kesari ball ladoo and serve
