Simple akkaravadisal

Ingredients

  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Moong dal - ¼ cup
  • Milk – 3 cups
  • Sugar – ½ cup
  • Cardamom powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cashews – 5
  • Ghee –4 tbsp

Preparation

  • Heat ghee in a moong dal roast till you get nice aroma.
  • Add milk cook for 3 whistles.
  • Then add sugar mix well.
  • Add cardamom powder & add ghee roasted cashews mix well.
  • Offer to god then serve hot

Note

  • You can add milk & jaggery for another variation.
