  • Saffron - a pinch [soaked in warm milk]
  • Coconut [Grated] - 1 cup
  • Almonds [Grated] – 2 tbsp
  • Cardamom powder - ½ tbsp
  • Sugar - ½ cup
  • Water - ¼ cup
  • Ghee - 4 tbsp


  • Heat pan with ghee, sugar and water let it to boil. Once bubbles are started coming add grated coconut and mix well in a low flame.
  • Add saffron soaked milk mix well then add ghee & mix well.
  • Add grated almonds and cardamom powder mix well. Mixture comes out together then sprinkle ghee and saffron and cut off heat.
  • Grease tray with ghee then spread this mixture and leave this in room temperature till set.
  • Then cut this in to diamond shape and keep it in air tight container.


  • You can use ghee roast grated coconut
