Rajma adai recipe

Ingredients

  • Rajma beans [red kidney beans] – 1 cup
  • Toor dal – ½ cup
  • Bengal gram – ¼ cup
  • Rice – 1 cup
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Cumin seed – 1 tbsp
  • Dry red chilli - 4
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Water – 1 cup

Preparation

  • Wash and Soak rajma beans, toor dal, bengal gram and rice overnight then drain water.
  • Put soaked ingredients in a mixer jar with garlic, cumin seed, dry red chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt then coarsely grind.
  • Heat iron dosa tawa, grease with oil then pour batter, spread it & shape like dosa. Cook both sides then serve hot with coconut chutney or idli podi
