Poori masala By

Ingredients

  • Potato – 3
  • Onion – 1 [sliced]
  • Ginger – 1 inch [mashed]
  • Garlic – 2 [mashed]
  • Green chilli – 1 [sliced]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Method

  • Wash and boil potatoes in a pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Then peel and chop.
  • Heat oil in a pan then add mustard seeds. once its spluttered then add Bengal gram and urad dal.
  • Add onion sauté till soft. Then add ginger and garlic sauté gently. then add green chilli , curry leaves and turmeric powder mix well.
  • Then add boiled potatoes and salt mix well & leave it for 2 min. cut off heat sprinkle coriander leaves then serve hot with poori or chapati.

Tip

  • You can use it for masala dosa.
