Ingredients

  • Onion – 2 [sliced]
  • Gram flour – 5 tbsp
  • Rice flour – 2 tbsp
  • White rava – 1 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Asafetida – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala [powder] – ½ tsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Water as needed
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Preparation

  • Take a bowl add onion, curry leaves, gram flour, rice flour, rava, asafetida, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala & rava mix well.
  • Sprinkle enough water and mix well. (Not like bajji consistency).
  • Heat oil in a pan then sprinkle onion mixture & deep fry on medium hot oil till golden brown & crispy.
  • Serve hot with curd rice, evening snack, tea or coffee
