Muttaikose pachadi

Ingredients

  • Cabbage – 1 cup [finely chopped or thin stripes]
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Ginger – ½ tsp [finely chopped]
  • Curd – 1 ½ cup [fresh, fully whisked]
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs [finely chopped]
  • Salt to taste

Seasoning / Tempering ingredients

  • Mustard seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

Method

  • Steam chopped cabbage in an idli cooker or steamer for 5 min. Then let it cool for 5 min.
  • In a bowl add steamed cabbage, green chilli, ginger, coriander leaves & salt mix well
    Add curd mix well.
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds let it splutter then add curry leaves & cut off heat.
  • Add these seasoned ingredients to the cabbage raitha/pachadi mix well & serve with chapathi, rice.
