Mango raita


Cuisine Style: India | Preparation Time: 5 minutes | To Serve: 2 | Take with: Pulao, Paratha, roti, naan, biryani| Type : Raita, Pachadi

Ingredients

  • Mango – 1 [peeled, chopped]
  • Curd / Yogurt – 1 ½ cup [fresh]
  • Green chilli – 1 [finely chopped]
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring[chopped]
  • Sugar – ½ tbsp
  • Salt to taste

For tempering / seasoning

  • Mustard Seeds– ½ tbsp
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Oil – 1 tbsp

Method

  • In a bowl add fresh curd, sugar whisk well then add salt.
  • Add chopped mango
  • Add green chilli, coriander leaves.
  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, let it splutter then add curry leaves cut off heat.
  • Add seasoned ingredients into the curd, mango mixture & serve immediately with chapathi or pulao, biryani
