Ingredients

  • Pori [Puffed rice] – 2 cup
  • Roasted gram – 2 tbsp
  • Ground nut – 2 tbsp [Roasted]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Asafetida – a pinch
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Dry red chilli – 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp [Ground nut / Coconut oil]

Preparation

  • Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds, let it splutter then add cumin seeds, & roasted gram sauté.
  • Add garlic, curry leaves & Dry red chilli sauté.
  • Add roasted Ground nut, Asafetida, Turmeric powder, Red chilli powder & salt sauté.
  • Add Pori/ Puffed rice sauté till crisp.
  • Then cut off heat & let it cool
  • Store in an airtight container & use within 2 days.
