Ingredients

  • Kambu[Pearl millet, Bajra]– 1 cup
  • Idli rice - 1 cup
  • Toor dal – ½ cup
  • Bengal gram – ½ cup
  • Dry red chilli -3
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Water as needed

Preparation Method

  • Wash & soak kambu, toor dal, & bengal gram, overnight or 5 hours then drain water.
  • Put soaked ingredients in a mixer jar & coarsely grind with cumin seeds, garlic, dry red chilli & enough water
  • In a bowl add ground mixture, salt, mix well.
  • Heat iron dosa tawa pour batter, sprinkle 1 tbsp of oil , evenly apread.
  • Cover lid & cook both sides for 3 min.
  • Then serve hot with chutney, avial or grated jaggery.
