French fries double fry method-Crispy & simple


Cuisine Style: Belgium | Cooking Time: 10 minutes | To Serve: 4 | Type : Snacks | Take with: Tomato sauce, Green Chutney, Schezwan chutney

Ingredients

  • Potato - 2 [wash & thinly slice]
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying

Preparation

  • Wash & peel off the potato skin then slice[lengthwise].
  • Add sliced potato into cold water then drain.
  • Boil water in a pan then put sliced potatoes, parboil then drain water & let it cool.
  • Add parboiled potato slices into a zip lock pouch place it in a refrigerator for about 4 to 5 hours or overnight.
  • Heat oil in a pan then add potato slices deep fry for 2 min then remove from oil & place it in an absorbent paper for 2 min.
  • Then again deep fry till crisp & golden brown & serve hot with tomato sauce.
