Ingredients

  • Ladies finger[Bhindi, okra, vendakkai]– ¼ cup
  • Curd / Yogurt – 1 cup [fresh]
  • Red chilli powder – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder - ¼ tsp
  • Turmeric powderpowder - ¼ tsp
  • Gram flour - 1 tbsp
  • Rice flour or corn flour - 1 tbsp
  • Green chilli- 1 tbsp [finely chopped]
  • Ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring [chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 2 tbsp

Method

  • Chop bhindi, add red chilli powder , turmeric powder, coriander powder, salt, rice flour mix well
  • Heat iron tawa, pour 2 tbsp oil, add okra, roast till crisp.
  • In a bowl add curd, gram flour, rice flour, salt whisk well with out lumps.
  • Heat pan, add cumin seeds,curry leaves, ginger, & green chilli saute.
  • Add sauted bhindi mix well then cut off heat.
  • Add curd mixture, switch on flame, mix well, cook till low to medium flame till one boil.
  • Fianlly add coriander leaves, cut off heat.
  • Serve immediately with chapati or pulao, biryani
