Ingredients

  • Onion – 3 [sliced]
  • Gram flour [Besan, kadalai maavu] - ½ cup
  • Rice flour - 3 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder – 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - ¼ tsp
  • Coriander leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
  • Curry leaves – 2 springs [chopped]
  • Asafoetida[Hing] – ¼ tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep frying
  • Water as needed

Preparation Method

  • In a bowl add all ingredients without oil mix well make sticky dough.
  • Heat enough oil in a pan sprinkle onion pakoda mixture
  • Deep fry till crisp & golden brown on medium hot oil.
  • Once its ready remove from oil drain on absorbent paper then serve hot
