Coriander thogayal

Ingredients

  • Coriander – 2 cup
  • Coconut – ¼ cup
  • Toor dal – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – ½ tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Coriander seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Tamarind – ½ inch
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Dry red chilli - 1
  • Oil 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Heat oil in a pan then add toor dal, Bengal gram and urad dal roast till golden brown. Then transfer to a plate.
  • Then roast coriander seeds and cumin seeds. And keep it aside.
  • Next roast dry red chilli and garlic. Then roast coconut. . And keep it aside.
  • Roast coriander leaves with 1 tbsp oil till soft. And keep it aside.
  • In a mixer jar put all roasted ingredients, tamarind, and salt. Coarsely grind.
  • Then sprinkle gingelly oil. Serve hot with rice
