Chickpeas adai dosa

Ingredients

  • Chickpeas [chana, kondakkadalai] – 1 cup
  • Idli Rice – ¼ cup
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
  • Ginger – 1 tbsp [chopped]
  • Garlic – 2 cloves
  • Cumin seed – 1 tbsp
  • Dry red chilli – 3
  • Green chilli – 1
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coriander leaves – 1 spring
  • Curd – 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation Method

  • Wash and Soak chickpeas, urad dal and idli rice overnight then drain water.
  • Put soaked ingredients in a mixer jar with ginger, garlic, cumin seed, dry red chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves, lemon juice and salt then coarsely grind.
  • Take a bowl, add ground mixture, curd, & grated coconut mix well.
  • Heat iron dosa tawa, grease with oil then pour batter, spread it & shape like dosa.
  • Cook both sides [Apr. 3 min each side] then serve hot with coconut chutney, grated jaggery or idli podi
