Capsicum thogayal

Ingredients

  • Green Capsicum – ½ cup [finely chopped]
  • Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
  • Toor dal – ½ tbsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – ½ tbsp
  • Dry red chilli - 1
  • Coriander seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Cumin seeds – ½ tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Preparation Method

  • Heat pan with oil then roast all ingredients except tamarind.
  • Cool it and put roasted ingredients, and salt in a mixer jar.
  • Grind to fine or coarse powder or paste.
  • Sprinkle gingelly oil & serve hot with rice.
