Ingredients

  • Wheat flour [Atta] – 1 cup
  • Beetroot – 1
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil – 1 tbsp
  • Water as needed.

Method

  • In a mixie jar, add chopped beetroot, and half cup water, grind to fine puree.
  • Then strain and extract beetroot juice.
  • In a bowl add wheat flour, salt, oil, beetroot juice, mix well. then knead it & make soft dough. Then leave it for 15 min.
  • Then make balls out of the mixture.
  • Sprinkle flour, flatten balls into thin or thick chapathi.
  • Heat rion dosa tawa, place raw beet chapati, add ghee or oil, cook both sides
  • Then serve hot with raita, or any gravy
