Ingredients

  • Beans [Green bean] – ¼ kilo [wash & chop]
  • Onion – 1[sliced]
  • Green chilli – 1[slit]
  • Curry leaves – 1 spring
  • Coconut – ¼ cup [grated]
  • Red chilli powder – ½ tsp
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Bengal gram – 1 tbsp
  • Urad dal – 1 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Water as needed

Preparation

  • Heat pan with oil then add mustard seeds. Once it’s spluttered add Bengal gram & urad dal.
  • Add onion sauté till soft. Then add green chilli, 2 tbsp coconut and curry leaves.
  • Add chopped beans, turmeric & red chilli powder mix well, sauté for 2 min then add water boil till soft.
  • Add coriander powder, salt & coconut mix well. Leave it for 1 min. then cut off heat.
    Serve hot with rice.
