Ingredients

  • Banana or Nenthra pazham] – 7 [Fully ripped]
  • Ghee [melted butter] – 4 tbsp
  • Jaggery [Vellam]– ¼ cup to ½ cup
  • Almond-5
  • Cashew Nut-4
  • Rice flour or corn flour – 1 to 2 tbsp [optional]

Preparation Method

  • Heat pan add water & jaggery melt it then drain/filter[to remove impurities] & again cook till light thick syrup consistency
  • Peel off the banana skin mash well
  • In a wide pan take 1 tbsp of ghee and roast (light brown) almonds, cashew nuts & chop, keep it aside.
  • In the same pan add ghee & mashed banana sauté for 3 minutes and this make the banana tender.
  • Pour the jaggery syrup to the pan stir well on medium flame for 10 min.
  • Add ghee & stir continuously till the mixture becomes thick / start leaving the pan.
  • Then cut off heat & Garnish with dry fruits serve cold / warm / hot.
